Natalie Townsend, Digital Advisor, IQVIA

Natalie Townsend is a Digital Advisor for IQVIA. She is responsible for providing guidance to the life science industry on leveraging technologies to orchestrate data, and people, to improve human health.

Natalie has over 16+ years industry experience in designing, implementing and supporting eClinical solutions to address the myriad of challenges faced across biopharmaceutical organizations. Her experience with clinical trials spans a broad range of sponsors and therapeutic areas across all phases and regions, allowing her to appreciate the differing technology considerations from individual study designs to large enterprise-wide SaaS implementations to patient-centric initiatives.

 

Prior to joining IQVIA Natalie provided detailed platform demonstrations and technical expertise as a Solution Consultant at Medidata. By collaborating with all stakeholders, she converted challenges and needs into meaningful solutions, helping cross-functional teams become more efficient and effective via digital innovation.

 

Natalie studied Sociology with the Open University, is certified in ITIL, has run many successful Kaizen events during her career and is a keen speaker at webinars and industry events. She is proud to be a member of key networks including the Healthcare Businesswoman’s Association (HBA), the Drug Information Association (DIA) and attends the local Toastmasters club in her hometown of Nottingham, UK.  Natalie is also a keen contributor to the Critical Path Institute (C-PATH) ePRO consortium.

Jan Pieter Kappelle

Jan Pieter (JP) Kappelle, VP of Clinical Services at Inceptua, is a Supply Chain Executive with 30 years of industry experience, of which 15 years were spent leading clinical trial supplies departments in global pharmaceutical and biotech companies.

Trained as an Electronic and Quality Engineer, JP has a strong financial background and brings a methodical, analytical and process-oriented approach to his work. Coupled with his MBA and MSc in Supply Chain Management, JP has the unique ability to switch between strategic and operational discussions.

JP also serves as the Global Clinical Supplies Group (GCSG) Master of Ceremony where he connects clinical supply professionals for the purposes of education,
knowledge sharing and the development of industry best practices.

 

Jasper Renk

Jasper H. Renk oversees the management of international sustainable forestry investments and is responsible for liquidity and cash flow planning, the evaluation of annual reports and the preparation of quarterly and annual reports. His other activities include working with stakeholders and managing transaction processes. Prior to joining Aquila Capital in 2017, Jasper H. Renk was a freelance forestry services provider for five years. He completed his studies in forest science and forest ecology at the Georg-August University of Göttingen.

Thomas Kraubitz

Thomas Kraubitz co-leads BuroHappold Cities in Europe. Based in Berlin his focus is on resilient urban environments and large-scale sustainability concepts. He consults governmental, national- and international organizations as well as the private industry. He is a licensed architect, urban and regional planner and worked with Ken Yeang, Ma Quingyun, Stefan Behnisch and Jan Gehl prior to joining BuroHappold. Thomas studied architecture in Germany, Urban Planning at Tongji University and the MIT. He also obtained a Masters’ degree with Distinction from Harvard University – graduating best of class. He received numerous recognitions including Fulbright, InWent, Mercator and BMW Foundation scholarships. Thomas frequently teaches at universities and conferences worldwide on the future of Cities, such as the 2017 World Expo Astana and COP 23, with a particular interest on sustaining urban fabrics and resilience. He currently teaches on Smart Buildings and Cities at the HfT Stuttgart and at the TU Berlin in El Gouna, Egypt on Industrial Development. He is also a co-initiator of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) and involved in further developing the scheme. He also leads the Sustainability team being responsible for the highest rated Green Building and District and first WELL projects in Germany. He is a DGNB Senior Auditor, LEED GA, WELL PT Agent and BREEAM DE Auditor.
