I have almost 40 years of extensive managerial experience and during the last 20 years I have  mainly been working with international strategic business development including strategies, M&As and developments of strategic alliances/partnerships and global solution sale and business development with Schlumberger, IBM and Kongsberg Oil and Gas

Patrick Horend

  • 15 years+ experience in Asset Management, Investment Banking, he recently joined a team of international investors to create the Climate Endowment, an investor across all asset classes following the portfolio approach of the American endowments with the additional requirement of a climate target.
  • Patrick worked 9 years for the Abu Dhabi Investment Council, a leading global sovereign wealth fund. There he worked the last 5 years for the Global Special Situations focusing on FIG/Credit/Structured Credit investments and 4 years in Risk Management performing due diligence across all asset classes; Prior to that he worked 3 years at DresdnerKleinwort underwriting leveraged loans and started his career at GE Capital
  • Patrick has a Master of Science from the ESCP Europe

Alex Ireland

Alex Ireland is Associate Director Business Development at Novotech, the leading Asia Pacific centered global biotech CRO.  During her tenor, she has worked with 125+ biotech companies on 400+ studies in preparation for their upcoming Ph 1-3 clinical trials. Prior to joining Novotech, she worked for a small biotech company in a variety of business development and operational roles. Alex graduated from Boston University with a Master of Public Health.

 

Dr Ike Ogbaa

Ike Ogbaa, MD is currently the US Medical Affairs Lead for New Products and Integrated Diabetes Care at Sanofi. His current role is to develop the US medical affairs strategy for Sanofi’s pipeline of New Diabetes Drugs, Devices and Digital health Solutions. He has extensive experience throughout the Pharmaceutical value chain in Clinical Pharmacology, Drug Development, Field-based Medical Affairs and Home-Office Medical affairs. He has worked for a CRO, small biotech and 2 large Pharma companies.
