Katsura Kasahara is currently serving as an Executive Professional in the Global Business Development Division at EPS Corporation since 2021. In this role, Katsu strengthens the bridge between Japan and international pharmaceutical development projects. This role leverages over 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical development and licensing within the industry.
Katsu’s extensive career spans numerous countries and regions, working with both Japanese pharmaceutical companies, Ono Pharmaceutical and Shionogi, as well as global mega-pharma, Eli Lilly. From the Japan base, Katsu managed pharmaceutical development not only in Japan but also in East Asia and Singapore. Additionally, Katsu has spent approximately 15 years stationed in the UK and the US, leading European expansion from the UK and overseeing US operations, including successful FDA approvals.
Katsu’s knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical development and business are underpinned by a strong foundation in medicinal chemistry. Katsu holds a Master’s degree in Pharmacy and is a licensed pharmacist.
With over 12 years’ experience within the energy sector, John is responsible for the development of bespoke energy and carbon solutions. With a solid understanding of Inspired PLC’s broad service portfolio, John supports clients in overcoming energy challenges and maximising opportunities, from cost reduction to decarbonisation. John specialises in net zero strategic development, energy efficiency and procurement.
Dan holds over 10 years’ industry experience, specifically within the manufacturing sector and as a well-known industry commentator, he works with clients to advise and guide them in the development of energy and carbon management strategies. Further supporting businesses in reducing costs, consumption, and emissions at a time of increasing internal and external pressures.
Fatih Savci graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Vienna University of Technology and works as a Fleet Manager at WESTbahn, a private Austrian railway company that operates in Austria and Germany
He has gained experience through various vehicle projects to implement design changes in accordance with EN 45545-2.
At FPRS 2025, he will explain the implementation of EN 45545-2 and the associated challenges from the perspective of a railway operator.
