Katy Guthrie

Katy is the Programme Manager for University of Edinburgh’s AI Accelerator programme, based at the Bayes Centre, the University’s innovation hub for data science and AI. The majority of Katy’s career has been spent in data and technology roles in corporate financial services. She then got involved with supporting early-stage tech businesses working as Head of Data for ScotlandIS, working to build and expand the community of data-driven businesses, highlighting opportunities, fostering collaboration and demonstrating the breadth of Scotland’s capability.

Douglas Blakey

Douglas joined Retail Banker International in 2005 and has edited RBI along with sister title Electronic Payments International since 2010. In addition, he has editorial responsibility for GlobalData’s wealth management title Private Banker Intl. Douglas chaired industry group The Digital Banking Club from 2013-2018 and is a regular speaker and moderator on the conference circuit.

With over 30 years in the banking industry, he specialized in Global Wealth Management and financial advisory services. His career includes multiple senior leadership roles across various Swiss financial institutions such as UBS, UBP and REYL Intesa Sanpaolo.

Recognized for his contributions to the banking sector, Michael was awarded with the “Banker of the Year” in 2020, a Certified Wealth Management Advisor CWMA, passed the Advanced Executive Program and Executive Program by Swiss Finance Institute and did targeted studies in Sustainable Investing and Current Trends in Sustainable Investing at University Zurich.

Dr. Stephan Peters

Dr. Stephan Peters is nutrition science manager at the Dutch Dairy Organization (NZO) since 2015. In this function he coordinates and carries out research on healthy and sustainable diets. Before, Dr. Peters worked at the Netherlands Nutrition Center as science and quality manager and participated in the Dutch food dietary guidelines. Dr. Peters also was a product developer in clinical nutrition at Danone Research, the Netherlands, and at TNO Pharma, the Netherlands. Dr. Peters’ PhD was on the topic of nutrition in involuntary weight loss (cancer cachexia).

Sal Capizzi

Sal is a spa and wellness operations expert, he has a rich background in business management and elevating guest experiences. His leadership transformed wellness programs at Equinox and NEXUS Club New York. Recognizing technology’s potential, he joined Book4Time in 2020, enhancing operational efficiency, customer engagement, and growth through software solutions and insights. Sal continues to innovate in technology, SaaS, and wellness.

Johan Garssen

Johan Garssen is Professor of Immunopharmacology at Utrecht University, where he’s also Head of the Division Pharmacology at the Utrecht Institute for Pharmaceutical Sciences. At Danone Nutricia Research, after several functions as from 2002, Johan is currently Chief Scientific Advisor.

He studied medicine and biology at the Free University, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He specialized in immunology, pharmacology and biochemistry and finished both studies in 1987 cum laude. He is registered as immunologist and pharmacologists. He finished his PhD thesis at the University of Utrecht in 1991 on the role of T cells in respiratory allergy, an immunopharmacological approach. This PhD programme and a postdoc period was partly performed at Yale University, New Haven, USA. Since 2022 he heading the Future Food Research Hub at the Utrecht university.

After the postdoc period he became senior scientist and head immunobiology at the National Institute of Public Health in the Netherlands. There he coached many research projects, both preclinical as well as clinical research, in the field of immunomodulation induced by a.o. nutritional ingredients, drugs and environmental agents.

Johan Garssen published over 900 peer reviewed papers in the field of “immunomodulation”. He is editorial board member for several journals and has contributed to various grants, a.o. NWO, EU, NIH, STW, Bill Gates, EDB, RAAK-PRO, children hospital innovation grants.

His major research field is translational research (from use-inspired fundamental research towards proof of concept clinical trials) aimed at prevention and/or management of immune related disorders with a strong focus on allergy/tolerance and inflammation management.

Loïc BRIAND

Loîc BRIAND is Managing Director for the overall coordination of airport management expertise between Groupe ADP and the international assets of the group. Historical background since more than 15 years was to manage the deployment of expertise on the entire value chain of airport management (including but not limited to airport operations, technical challenges, commercial strategy, governance challenges, especially through the management of technical assistance agreements -TSAs between ADP International (100% subsidiary of Groupe ADP fully dedicated to overseas operations and shareholdings). Since 2021, in addition to the previous mentioned areas, he is leading the Global PMO team for the Smart Airports program which aims to support the digitalisation of the overall operations in the perspective of improving customer satisfaction, enhance and optimise operations. This program involves both the Parisian airports of CDG and ORY, TAV Airports, AIG for Amman International  airport and MZLZ for Zagreb international airport.
