Shyam Banuprakash

Shyam has 15+ years of experience in data management and life sciences industry and has a strong expertise in data science and analysis. Shyam heads up the data science department for the Medical Imaging business segment of Clario. The department oversees design, collection, cleaning and standardization of medical imaging data; and creating analysis and AI models on clinical, operational, and financial data. His experience includes working for Janssen Alzheimer’s Immunotherapy and Medtronic. Shyam has a master’s in data science and engineering from UCSD. 

Sarah Tressel Gary

Sarah Tressel Gary is a senior scientific advisor with Clario.  She has over 12 years of experience in clinical trial design and strategy and more than 11 years of experience in eCOA and the development and validation of PROs in support of labeling claims. She has significant experience working with PRO development and validation studies, eCOA design and best practices, and cognitive debriefing and usability testing.  She earned a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Ph.D. in Bioengineering both from Georgia Tech. To date, Dr. Sarah Tressel Gary has co-authored 18 publications and has numerous conference abstracts and presentations.

Rohita Sharma

Rohita Sharma, PhD, is a Global Sr. Director in the Patient Insights & Solutions team at Alexion AstraZeneca Rare Disease.  In this role, Rohita leads the development and implementation of the LEAP platform – a unique series of immersive patient journeys across the organization, and geographies to ensure that strategies, tactics, and initiatives are grounded in the patients’ lived experience.

Rohita has more than 15 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry mainly in medical affairs. She has worked across commercial, medical affairs and corporate functions, both in country and at the global level. She has broad therapeutic area experience including rare diseases, vaccines, respiratory, and diabetes. She has extensive experience in leading and executing strategic medical plans, partnering with key external experts, presenting scientific and clinical data to advisory and HTA bodies as part of pre-launch, launch and life cycle management of medicines.

Rohita earned an Honors Bachelor of Science and a Master’s in Science from the University of Toronto and a PhD in Neuroscience from McMaster University. She also completed a one-year post-doctoral fellowship at the Toronto Hospital for Sick Children. She has published several peer-reviewed publications, most recently one on patient centricity and the importance of partnering with patients in the development of medicines.

Kristy Dinh

Kristy Dinh is Director of IT- Applications Delivery for ICS. She has over 20 years of experience in Healthcare, Government, and 3PL Logistics. Kristy successfully deployed and supported several IT Application Delivery projects, including ERP Migrations, BI Reporting, and TMS. For the past seven years, Kristy has been leading the IT efforts to successfully support the Drug Supply Chain Security Act requirements for ICS’s 3PL and Title models.

Dr. Brendan Buckley

Dr. Brendan Buckley is a medical graduate of University College Cork (UCC) and a doctoral graduate in Biochemistry of Oxford University. He brings more than 40 years of experience in academic clinical practice as a physician in endocrinology, diabetes and clinical pharmacology.

 

Brendan is also a non-executive director of a number of biopharma development and services companies. He chairs the board of the leading Irish research charity, Fighting Blindness, and is a member of the board of Breakthrough Cancer Research. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Irish Medicines Board (now the Health Products Regulatory Authority), chairing its statutory Advisory Committee for Human Medicines. In the past, he was also a member of the European Medicines Agency Committee for Orphan Medicinal Products (COMP) and of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) Scientific Advisory Committee on diabetes and metabolism.

 

Brendan is an Honorary Clinical Professor at UCC and an Adjunct Professor at University College Dublin in the respective medical faculties. He was Director of the European Collaborative Centre for Clinical Trials in Rare Diseases at UCC. With more than 150 scientific papers published in his career, Brendan also authored the opinion-leading book Re-Engineering Clinical Trials. He has directed a number of very large outcomes trials in metabolic/cardiovascular disease and chairs the independent data and safety monitoring boards for a number of large clinical development programs.
