Rachel Horovitz

Rachel Horovitz is VP, Product Strategy at Medidata AI. She leads the launch of innovative solutions to improve decision making in clinical trial planning and execution, including most recently an offering to increase diversity in clinical trials. She holds an MSc in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Bern (Switzerland), an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and a BS in Economics from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Andy Gurd

Andy is responsible for product marketing strategy, messaging, and content for the Medidata Platform, Rave EDC, and Medidata’s next-generation clinical data management solutions. Andy has over 23 years of technology product marketing experience, the last 10 years working with clinical research technologies and services, including 6 years with a leading contract research organization, Parexel. Before entering life sciences, Andy spent 13 years in product marketing/management roles for systems and software engineering technologies, including 5 years with IBM.

Diana Goff

As O-I’s Global Foresights Manager, Diana Goff aims to shed light on the intersection of consumer behavior, food and drink trends, and packaging innovation. During the past 9 years, Diana’s contributions have helped foster a shift in mindset within the company, empowering internal stakeholders to approach clients with compelling storytelling focusing on creating products and experiences that resonate deeply with consumers – all while championing glass packaging as a symbol of sustainability and elegance.

Martin McKay

Clyde Gateway is Scotland’s biggest and most ambitious regeneration programme.  As Chief Executive, Martin has a strategic and executive role across all aspects of Clyde Gateway’s capital investment and Inward Investment activities.

Over the last 10 years Clyde Gateway has won a range of awards for its regeneration work, developing a portfolio of business space including offices and industrial as well as the successful Red Tree Business Suites brand.

Martin also leads Clyde Gateway’s Green Regeneration Innovation District (GRID) that will lever green recovery with job creation and sustainable economic growth.  GRID includes a District Heating Network, in partnership with Scottish Water Horizons, and is home to a pan European 5th Generation District Heating & Cooling (5GDHC) pilot.

Martin is a Chartered Architect and Fellow of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS).

Dave Pearson

Dave Pearson is a Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Professor to Edinburgh Napier University. He’s also Chair of CEED Scotland, a knowledge sharing collective with over 160 member companies in Scotland. By day, Dave is Group Director of Sustainable Development of Star Refrigeration Ltd manufacturers of large refrigeration systems and industrial heat pumps. Most notably, river source ammonia heat pump deployments in Drammen, Zurich, Clydebank, Jarrow, Bristol and soon Liverpool. He’s also responsible for Star’s work in Data Analytics where good data analysis leads to better customer outcomes. A final interest lies in the internal business sustainable development where he advocates following the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development goals.

Christoph Stegemann

Chris is Global Sales VP for SCRIBOS. Before joining SCRIBOS in 2011 he worked in international Marketing, Product Management and Consulting positions in the Automotive and IT industry. He lived in the US, Singapore and China before and holds two degrees in Economics and Business administration from Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany as well as an MBA from the Technical University Munich, Germany and Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. He is now based out of Munich, Germany.

Marietta Sayegh, MSc, PhD

Marietta Sayegh, MSc, PhD is the Nutrition Business Partner for Europe at Tate & Lyle. In her current role, Marietta supports the EU region by sharing the latest scientific evidence related to various Tate & Lyle ingredient solutions with internal and external audiences and customers. Moreover, Marietta contributes to the development of science-based communication materials targeted at nutrition, health, and wellness audiences.
Marietta holds a PhD in Human Nutrition from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, UK, on inter-individual variation in glucose responses in women. Prior to joining Tate & Lyle, Marietta worked as a postdoc research fellow at the University of Aberdeen, where she led projects focusing on nutrition sustainability and food security within Scotland.
