With a technical background on ingredient functionality, Lin has worked before as beverage scientist and as technical specialist, supporting various Tate & Lyle customers. She’s currently responsible for category growth in the Beverage, Bakery and Confectionary categories working closely with our nutrition, regulatory, commercial, and technical applications teams. Driving growth by translating consumer insights into valuable commercial opportunities is what motivates and inspires Lin at Tate & Lyle.
Sally heads up the Category Strategy function at CCEP, with a focus on turning shopper understanding into action and building category capability. Prior to this she worked across a number of Category & Insights roles within CCEP and before that, JTI. Sally has a passion for understanding shoppers & consumers, finding the human angle to the hard facts. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family & 2 dogs, competing in dressage competitions and painting.
Barillot manages Fujifilm’s digital packaging product portfolio. His role involves working closely with both Manuel and the sales team to develop and implement strategies for business growth. Barillot will support customers, prospects, partners and the sales teams with all technical and product related topics, including support for exhibitions, demos and events.
Barillot has more than 30 years of experience working within the packaging industry in France, across companies including Brodart Packaging, SAC Emballlages, UNI Packaging, Landa Digital Printing, Schur Flexibles Group and HP.
Colin Pritchard is a chemical engineer by training, with over 30 years-experience in the refining, petrochemical, oil & gas and energy sectors in a variety of roles covering technical, operational, environmental and commercial responsibilities.
In 2013, Colin became Energy Business Manager, leading commercial aspects of energy and utilities delivered to the INEOS & Petroineos businesses at Grangemouth, which included responsibility for emissions trading and plans to reduce these emissions.
This led to his involvement in creation of the Net Zero Roadmap for INEOS at Grangemouth during 2021, and subsequently his appointment as Sustainability Director at the beginning of 2022, to oversee delivery of the roadmap.
Colin is also a Visiting Professor at the Centre for Energy Policy at the University of Strathclyde, where he contributes his experience from the Energy Intensive Industries sector to support the valuable research of the Centre.
Nico is the North America commercial head for Huma’s Digital-first research vertical which focuses on enabling better research through the inclusion of innovative digital approaches. Nico has over a decade of experience ushering novel digital solutions towards the advancement of research, previously Nico was the VP of Business Development at Tissue Analytics, a sophisticated skin and wound computer vision digital technology company and previously the Head of Real World Data Evidence for Net Health, a provider of EMR solutions.
Akihiro Ko has served as Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the board of directors since May 2017, when he co-founded the company. Previously, Mr. Ko served as Chief Operating Officer for Elixirgen, LLC, the parent company of Elixirgen Therapeutics, and President of Elixirgen Scientific, LLC, a provider of stem cell reagent kits and related services. In his previous roles, Mr. Ko was responsible for operations and business development at Elixirgen, LLC and Elixirgen Scientific. Mr. Ko earned a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Virginia, where he cultivated his interest in biology.
