Uraitz de Julian Garate

I’m a digital investment expert specializing in tokenization of assets, bringing innovative solutions to the investment industry through a deep understanding of current digital trends and a strong background in investment solutions.

As head of the Digital Investment Application at Coutts, I leverage my expertise in the industry to drive success for clients and the company. During my tenure, I‘ve been the main driving force behind the re-design and complete digitalization of our Advice & Suitability journeys.

Since I opened my first portfolio at age 15, I’ve had a deep interest in understanding the global economic landscape and its impact on financial markets. Today, I use data-driven insights to inform my own investment decisions. The same is true for cryptocurrencies – as an early investor, I have extensive knowledge of the crypto market, blockchain technology, and its applications.

In my commitment to educate and advise clients and colleagues on the potential benefits and risks of this rapidly evolving asset class, I founded the Blockchain Club.

I’m also the owner and CEO of Qolony, a platform where investors and entrepreneurs can collaborate by taking advantage of tokenized investment opportunities.

My educational qualifications include an MBA as well as different Agile titles and certifications. In my desire to keep myself up to date and expand my knowledge, I‘m scheduled to sit the CFA level 3 exam in February 2024.
