Giovanni has been with global financial institutions for almost a decade to accelerate the adoption of advanced analytical capabilities for pricing and product personalization. As head of the Professional Services Banking Team in Earnix he led a global team of consultants responsible for the design, management, and delivery of implementations for different product lines: unsecured consumer loans, motor finance products, mortgages, short-term and long-term lending products for businesses. Over the last few years Giovanni has designed and delivered the analytics and the implementations that every month are behind the pricing of over €10bn in contracts globally. Giovanni has also led strategic consulting projects with focus on advanced analytics and on change management processes and operations.

Matthew has over 20 years’ experience designing global real-world evidence solutions to support the development and commercialization of pharmaceutical / biotechnology products and devices.  His experience covers a wide-range of therapeutic areas, as well as strategic objectives from natural history programs, external control arm studies for regulatory approval, and global safety-surveillance mandate. His technical expertise includes program strategy and operational structure in disease and product registries, prospective pharmacoeconomic studies, and systematic reviews of scientific literature.

Niklas Lindberg specializes in business development in the biotech industry. Niklas has over 30 years of experience in international business development and has worked in several countries and with focus on knowledge driven decision making and development plans. Niklas has experience from clinical development in Biotech, MedTech and big pharma developing their R&D pipelines and strategies. Niklas joined Novotech 2022.

Dr. Claudia Hesselmann, a chemist by training, with a PhD in molecular biology. Claudia has twenty years of expertise in the early phases of drug development. Her experience includes co-founding and holding management positions in various CROs. Her extensive background and social acumen, along with her first-hand knowledge of the industry, led Claudia to co-found ARENSIA Exploratory Medicine in Düsseldorf, Germany. Her primary aim is the contribution of innovative approaches to bring about substantial acceleration to the drug development process and enable more agile patient access to novel therapeutics.

Akiko has over 10 years of experience in the life sciences industry, previously at McKinsey & Company advising pharmaceutical clients in strategy, digital and advanced analytics.  She holds an MBA from London Business School and a BA in Law from the University of Tokyo.

Lea Lorenzi is a beverage applications technician and trainee flavourist at Synergy Flavours Italy. Lea’s role involves using the company’s longstanding expertise in natural extraction technologies to develop premium beverage products across alcohol and soft drinks.

Lea’s close collaboration with customers and expertise in the beverage market means that demands for innovative beverage product development can be met with a premium range of tailor-made natural extracts and essences.

Alexis Garelli has over 15 years of diverse healthcare information and pharmaceutical software technology experience. She has worked with Calyx for over 7 years as a key strategic leader and director in IRT solutions and services.
