Samy Hamdouche

Samy Hamdouche is a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at Lucy. Prior to Lucy, he helped to build a number of companies in the biopharmaceuticals industry, including Avidity Biosciences and Kura Oncology. He is a scientist by training, and received his Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biophysics from Caltech.

David Renteln is a co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at Lucy. He started Lucy during his attempt to quit smoking, when he first became aware of what is now called the continuum of risk, and the public health potential of reduced harm products. Prior to Lucy, he was a co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer at Soylent, a nutrition and food technology company.

Iain Webb

Iain is an Account Director within Catalent’s Clinical Supply Services and he has worked in clinical trials and clinical drug development since 2010.  Iain has worked with Sponsors, CROs and academic institutions of all sizes supporting them with their early phase clinical studies through to commercialization. Ranging from comparator & commercial drug sourcing to IMP blinding, primary and secondary packaging, global storage and distribution solutions, IMP forecasting, through to clinical supplies management.  Iain has previously worked within Catalent’s global Client Services team undertaking requirements and quotes, working with Catalent’s customers around the globe, from virtual/small biotech and pharma to the larger industry household names. With over a decade of experience within the industry, Iain previously achieved a BSc(Hons) in Biology from the Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK.

Jason Skidmore

An experienced commercial leader, Jason’s focus is on the expansion of the company’s client base across Europe, and on further embedding 3stepIT’s pioneering Technology Lifecycle Management solution within enterprise and public accounts. He joined 3stepIT in 2017 having previously held global commercial leadership roles at Dell, GE Capital and CIT Group. Since 2020, he has led the rollout of 3stepIT’s proposition across Western Europe following the Joint Venture launch with BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions.
