Amelia Lopez Huix

Amelia Lopez Huix is the Executive Director and General Partner of MCI Partners, and a United Nations expert on gender economic governance, working as a trusted partner with corporate leaders on their most pressing issues on gender equality, corporate governance and sustainability, under the mission to maximize the likelihood of positive impact on gender equality at a global scale.

Amelia is credited with bringing the craft of gender equality in global development risks to financial markets and establishing gender economic governance as an academic discipline. As an executive speaker, she advises leading executives, investment agents, governments, and heads of state.

She is a Mother of 4 daughters, a former IT specialist, and a former Spanish Swim Team Member for the Olympic Games of Barcelona 1992. Together with her dutch husband, she lives in The Netherlands since 2008. As Senior Gender Equality Advisor and Lead of the UN Global Compact Target Gender Equality Programme for the Global Compact Network Netherlands, Amelia is conducting gender equality strategies at all business levels for companies participating in the 2021 Edition of the UN accelerator programme in The Netherlands.

Colin Herron

Colin Herron is currently the Global Coordinator, Water Solutions for the SDGs at the Global Water Partnership (GWP), based in Stockholm, Sweden, where he oversees activities throughout the GWP network on monitoring and boosting implementation of the water-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), taking SDG target 6.5, on the degree of implementation of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM), as its starting point. At GWP, he operates the SDG 6 IWRM Support Programme with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), which has supported 72 countries in this endeavour so far.

Colin has been working for over 20 years in water resources management, from different perspectives and in different regions. He was previously the Water Security Director for The Nature Conservancy (TNC) in Mexico and Northern Central America, and has worked as an advisor on water issues for the governments of Mexico and Turkey, as well as international organizations such as the World Water Council, the World Bank, the World Meteorological Organization and the International Union for Conservation of Nature.

He has a bachelor’s degree in French and Spanish language and literature, from the University of Leeds, and a master’s degree in Integrated Water Resources Management from the Mexican Water Technology Institute (IMTA).

Jonathan Foster-Pedley

It takes a multi-talented leader, innovative businessperson and expert in curriculum design to direct Henley Business School South Africa. Dean and Director Jonathan Foster-Pedley has worked in six continents and has over thirty years of global business experience. He is a former airline pilot and senior executive in the European aerospace industry, and has guided and facilitated cohesion and productivity in international and local multicultural sales and marketing and management teams. He is also an entrepreneur, a leading academic and coach (working as a visiting professor in Strategy, Creativity and Innovation), and a writer and blogger. He’s the former Vice Chair for the South Africa Business Schools Association and a board member for the African Association of Business Schools. He is currently the Chairman of the British Chamber of Business for South Africa.

Foster-Pedley’s expertise in strategy, creativity, design, thinking and innovation are key features of the Henley MBA curriculum. Prof. Aditya Singh

Prof. Aditya Singh is Director of Athena School of Management in Mumbai – India where he also teaches Leadership & Differential Thinking. He has decades of experience across the corporate sector, consulting, entrepreneurship & academia.

Aditya is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) in London, Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain & Ireland (FRAS) in London, Member of Chatham House – The Royal Institute of International Affairs in London & Member of the OECD Forum Network – Paris. He is also an active Rotarian.

Aditya is an Advisor to the ESG Research Initiative Centre (ESGIC) at the University of Chicago. He also sits on the Advisory Board of several start-ups, accelerators & non-profits across the world with a special interest in firms focussing on SDGs, Circular Economy, ESG, Sustainability, Impact Leadership & Innovation.

He is a graduate of the Wharton School’s Accelerated Development Program (ADP) and holds an MBA from the S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research in Mumbai. He is a member of the India Advisory Council of the Business Graduates Association (part of the Association of MBAs).

Rina Bardic

Rina is the co-founder of Blue Oceans Ventures, and a former advisor to the Abu Dhabi Investment Office.  Rina specializes in FDI attraction, innovative solution for entrepreneurship and innovation development.

Rina is experienced in working with regional governments in strategy development – developing and executing comprehensive baseline for investment attraction strategy and economic diversification, including building and executing successful plans to attract international investors. She’s worked across multiple sectors with strong focus on financial services, agriculture, healthcare  media and entertainment industries. She’s recognized for the ability to deliver practical, sustainable solutions that clarify strategic direction and deliver public value.

Rina is passionate about inspiring young people to entrepreneurship and helping prepare them to participate in the workforce through volunteering, internships, summer camps, and vocational training. She’s volunteered with 1776 ( fist accelerator in the UAE), Ellevate network, a global network of professional women and Save the Children, the world’s leading independent organization for children.

Rodney Gollo

Based in Hong Kong, Rodney leads the risk management function overseeing insurance businesses in the Asia Pacific to identify, assess and manage external and internal risks. This includes the integration climate risk and environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations into the enterprise risk management (ERM) framework. Specialising in emerging and frontier markets, he previously held roles in property & casualty re(insurance) at Aspen and consultancy at Grant Thornton. He is a member of the judging panel for the Better Society Awards, which awards companies helping create a more sustainable world. Rodney holds a Masters degree in Risk & Finance from the London School of Economics (LSE), and a Bachelors degree in Economics & Politics from The University of Sheffield.

Simon Thompson

Simon is based in the UK and leads GFT’s AI, ML & AI practice. Simon brings nearly 30 years’ experience of working on using machine learning to create value for customers. His team brings a systematic and scientific approach to AI, drawing on GFT’s comprehensive and deep knowledge of financial services as an industry.

Zoë Harries

With a background in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Economic Zones Advisory, Zoë Harries offers intellectual guidance and support to governments, multilateral organizations and economic zones to increase competitiveness in attracting FDI. Zoë also provides cross-border expansion and market entry services to companies.

Zoë’s mission is to mobilize the public and private sector to achieve the SDGs, while accelerating trade and promoting sustainable investment. She has extensive experience working with governments, companies and economic across the globe.

Based in Dubai, Zoë heads the Advisory Division at World FZO. She is the founder and CEO of Impact Zones Global and Middle East and a Partner and Director at EZDA Alliance, UAE-based end-to-end economic zone advisory firm.

She is a keynote speaker and lecturer on topics such as FDI Trends, Economic Zones, Global Value Chains, Location Competitiveness, Sustainability (SDGs). Zoë holds a BSc. in Economics and International Business Administration from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.

Joseph Schumaker

After graduating with honors from the California Culinary Academy, San Francisco, Joe co-founded Cosmopolitan Catering in Sunnyvale, CA. Joe left Cosmo in 2015 and started FoodSpace where he and his team consult as experts in kitchen design, foodservice management, food business growth strategy and mentorship.
