Darren has 20 years’ experience in accounting and finance. Training initially as a chartered accountant with KPMG, a number of senior finance roles in business followed. Throughout his career, Darren has implemented numerous finance and business systems and is passionate about the opportunities Cloud technology provides growing enterprises.
Aware that the adoption of new technology needs to be underpinned by a cultural shift, Darren helps finance teams transition into the digital age as seamlessly and efficiently as possible and with the best possible outcome.
Darren is author of numerous best practice guides, a regular speaker on the topic of digital transformation in the finance function and regularly lectures on the subject at the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
After two decades on the job, Mads can only be described as an asset allocator. Before setting up his own firm Human Edge Investment Technology in 2018, Mads was the Global Head of Asset Allocation at UBS Wealth Management for more than 6 years. During his tenure, he developed a new tactical and strategic asset allocation methodology for the bank’s $100 billion discretionary mandate portfolio and its $2 trillion advisory book. Prior to UBS, Mads was the head of Asset Allocation at Barclays Wealth and before that at Danske Capital.
Ron Tully has been involved in public policy and new business development technologies in tobacco, vaping and nicotine since 1988, and was a co-founder of Next Generation Labs in early 2014. NGL was the first company to see the opportunity for a non-tobacco based global nicotine market, and developed the technologies required for the bulk manufacturers of S, RS and R isomer synthetic nicotine. NGL maintains a leading role in the global synthetic nicotine market. Prior to his work with NGL, Tully worked at a number of small and medium sized tobacco trade groups and manufacturers, including most recently as Vice President for Public Affairs and New Business Development at National Tobacco Company (now Turning Point Brands), and previously as VP of Public Affairs at Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company. Tully has a separate consulting business. TNV Ventures. which provides business development and new product advisory services to nicotine, tobacco and vape manufacturers worldwide.
Sinead McHale is the CEO of Satago, the FinTech that provides automated credit control, risk insight and invoice finance to accountants and business owners. Sinead has held senior management roles in New York, Dublin and London across a variety of industries including banking, investment funds, and alternative business finance.
