Mads Asprem

Mads Asprem is Managing Partner at New Africa Impact, leading advisory efforts, project development and financing of renewable energy, forestry and FLR projects.

Prior to this, Mads was a Fellow at Harvard’s Advanced Leadership Initiative (Jan – Dec 2017), and from 2007-2016, Mads was CEO of Green Resources (GR), Africa’s leading forest-company outside RSA. He established GR in 1995 and put in place a unique management structure with strong domestic general managers, globally leading experts from the Baltics and South America and high-tech systems in a low-tech industry.

Dr Gwen Busby

Gwen focuses on timberland and forest product market analysis and specialized econometric and stochastic modeling for Greenwood Resources, an investment specialist of Nuveen.

Prior to joining GreenWood Resources, Gwen worked as an assistant professor of natural resource economics and quantitative methods at Virginia Tech and as a senior scientist at the University of Virginia. In these academic positions, her research program focused on stochastic modeling and risk analysis in forest and natural resource management. Her research has appeared in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national and international environmental and natural resource economics conferences.

Gwen graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Middlebury College, an M.E.Sc. from Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, and a Ph.D. in Natural Resource Economics from Oregon State University.

Peter Bryde

Peter Bryde, Executive Vice President and CEO of WGE, joined Westchester in September 2017, prior to which he had worked for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (“EBRD”) for a combined 18 years. Most of Peter’s time with EBRD was spend in their agribusiness department where Peter ultimately progressed to Deputy Director. During the last four (4) years at EBRD, Peter had oversight responsibility for EBRD’s direct equity portfolio with approximately 200 investments with a cost of approximately Euro 4.5bn. In between Peter’s two stints at EBRD, Peter worked for Standard Bank heading up their Agribusiness department, looking at agribusiness opportunities in Eastern Europe and the Former Soviet Union and to a lesser extent in South America.

Peter is a Danish national and has a master’s degree in finance from Copenhagen Business School.

Anna Gollmann

Anna Gollmann is part of a team of Global Project Managers and Directors to define, develop and deploy innovative strategic supply chain solutions to increase efficiencies, reduce waste, improve patient access and reduce lead times for clinical supply provision and include programs such as Demand Led Services (DLS) and Direct to Patient (DTP).

She has worked in various clinical supplies roles for 14 years.

Adrian Clifton

Adrian is a digital content, marketing and communications specialist, with 15 years’ in-house, agency and freelance experience in content strategy, management, creation and editing for web, social, video and email channels. As Senior Digital Content Manager for Towergate, the UK’s leading independent insurance broking organisation, he leads the 5-strong content team and strategy for driving organic traffic, leads and sales. Through a successful focus on SEO, UX and CX, he has overseen a doubling of organic traffic and 50% rise in organic new business leads since joining in June 2017. Towergate is part of The Ardonagh Group, a network of over 100 offices and 7,000 people. In 2019, Adrian won the Group’s Service Excellence Award, as well as being nominated as Emerging Leader of the Year.

Adrian has been a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing since 2014, and in 2016 qualified as both a member of the Public Relations and Communications Association and a CIPR Accredited PR Practitioner. He was subsequently chosen as a judge for the CIPR 2017 Excellence Awards.

Keen to provide the best support to both staff and peers to help their personal and professional success, he became a Mental Health First Aider in 2019. Outside of work, Adrian is a keen reader, singer, photographer, walker and traveller, and a lover of gardens, cricket, historical literary events and steam trains; besides being a Guinness World Record Holder!
