Marika Knorr

Marika Knorr has been in charge of Sustainability and Communication at CCL Label since April 2020 and is dedicated to grow the “Sustainable Product Family” while driving CCL’s Sustainability roadmap. Marika holds a Master‘s Degree in Art from Cologne University and Arizona State University and started her career as a newspaper and magazine writer before moving into Corporate Communications at international companies including TÜV Rheinland, LANXESS AG and Constantia Flexibles. She has held varied and senior positions in marketing and communications and has extensive experience in our industry focusing on sustainability and communication. Marika is based in Cologne, Germany.

Dr Marianthi Faka

Marianthi has a real zest for whey proteins and has been contributing significantly to Volac’s success over the past 15 years. Her efforts have been central to the expansion of multiple plants, always ensuring on maintaining excellent standards of quality and performance in the products offered. What sparks her interest is tuning into the ever-changing customer preferences and trends in the Performance and Active Nutrition market and translating these needs into effective ingredients.

Over the last three years, Marianthi has taken the role of Innovation Ambassador at Volac, steering the company’s strategic direction towards new horizons through innovation. She’s particularly captivated by the challenge of using raw materials sustainably while still producing nutritional products that remain competitive in the unpredictable whey market.

Outside of her professional life, Marianthi enjoys spending time in Greece with her family, where she appreciates the sunshine and explores the local culinary offerings. This break allows her to recharge and seek new inspiration.

Ilse Siekkinen

Ilse Siekkinen is General Manager Nordics at Oatly, the world’s first and largest oat drink company from Sweden, where she is leading the company’s business in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway. Prior to joining Oatly, Ilse has spent almost 20 years working within the FMCG sector.

Oatly is originating from visionary food scientists at Lund University who invented the world’s first oat drink. Since then, Oatly has been pioneering the shift to a more plant-based food system by offering great tasting oat-based products to make it easier for people to make food choices that are good for both people and the planet.

Gaby Rodriguez Elesgaray

Gaby is an Associate Director at Deloitte UK with over 15 years’ experience spread across industry and financial services, starting at BNP Paribas and Banco Santander structuring fixed income derivatives, before moving to Deloitte where she specialises in guiding clients in strengthening their AI control frameworks to align with industry best practices and regulatory expectations. Gaby’s expertise extends to Generative AI where she supports firms safely adopt this technology and navigate the risks and ethical considerations introduced by the AI systems.

David Kerr

With over 25 years of work experience, I am a seasoned SaaS work management and planning expert with a passion for helping accounting, auditing, and consulting firms optimize their workflows and productivity. I am currently the Chief Customer Officer at Beeye, a SaaS solution that enables firms to plan, manage, and track their projects, resources, and profitability. I am driven by the mission of Beeye to empower firms to achieve their goals with greater efficiency, visibility, and collaboration. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, having worked in different markets, industries, and roles throughout my career.

As the Chief Customer Officer, I am responsible for getting validation for Beeye in all international markets outside of France, and delivering $600K CAD of revenue from scratch in new markets including the US and UK. I built and executed the go-to-market strategy for the international markets, and led a team of 7 professionals across sales, marketing, and customer success functions. I leveraged my skills in new business development, strategy, and product management to engage with global accounting networks and associations at C-suite level, and to build and close a global pipeline of prospects and customers. I also represented Beeye in all large-scale events, webinars, and podcasts, showcasing the value and benefits of our solution to the industry.

Sarah Bly

Sarah Bly is Director of Regulatory Science, Strategy and Innovation at Worldwide Clinical Trials. Based in the UK with over 19 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.  Sarah is a lead in providing high level strategic regulatory strategies, risk assessments and solutions including driving health equity strategies.  Sarah is also an active volunteer and stakeholder for initiatives such as EU-X-CT which aims to improve cross-border access to clinical trials for patients in the EU.

Chris Pearce

Chris works at esure as Head of Data Science leading a large team. He is accountable for the growth and scaling of new machine learning applications and products across the enterprise as well as AI research.

Chris has experience across FMCG retail, banking, automotive, marketing & insurance industries having worked as a practitioner of data science and product developer through to a leader & strategist of data science capability and transformation. He has worked on every facet of the discipline from forecasting, NLP, image recognition, anomaly detection, recommenders & more recently GenAI. He is also responsible for the build of platform infrastructure and MLOps frameworks.
