Daniel Sebes

A young veteran in the online fraud prevention space, Daniel is a former professional gamer who has driven sales and marketing efforts for a large Microsoft ISV before becoming a key player in SEON’s commercial success. Joining the company as its 20th employee, Daniel now serves as Strategic Director and works with high growth, high complexity businesses to ensure fraud never becomes a hindrance to their success.

Daniel has been instrumental in SEON’s expansion efforts in EMEA, APAC and the Americas, working closely with industry leaders such as Revolut and Wise. With his contributions, the company has experienced significant growth, tripling its annual recurring revenue and expanding its headcount 4x.

Luke C.

Luke is an experienced risk professional and qualified actuary. He started his career in banking in South Africa, before moving to the UK to join an emerging challenger bank. More recently, Luke has helped Revolut build its global credit products, launching retail products across Europe, Australia and the US. He is currently the Founding Chief Risk Officer at topi, a B2B fintech building the payment platforms of tomorrow.

Johnny Najem

Johnny Najem received his Ph.D. from Akron University [USA] with a specialty in polymers nanocomposites. He has over 11 years of experience in polymer compounding and recycling for polymer packaging, automotive, construction among others.  He has developed numerous innovative engineered compounds for those industries.

Johnny is currently engaged in the development and industrialization of several pioneering sustainable products, which assist in fulfilling the Sustainability Vision 2030 of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). He is one of two official technical representatives of the ‘Packaging Working Group’ Consortium in KSA which includes Napco National Packaging as a member, in consultation with the Ministry of Industry and MWAN

Clément Grenier

After 10 years working in the pharmaceutical transport, 6 years as a Clinical Trial Project Manager for World Courier and 4 years as a Global Cold Chain Manager for Cryopdp, Clément integrated the biopharmaceutical industry in 2019 as a Logistics Specialist for Cellectis, a pioneer biotech in the allogeneic CAR-T Cell therapies. In 2022, Clément joined Sanofi Clinical Supply Chain to implement the Cell therapy clinical programs as a Project Leader.

James Pereira-Stubbs

James is the Chief Client Officer of Oxford Risk. He is responsible for ensuring the deployment of Oxford Risk’s industry-leading behavioural software to help our clients meet regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions, grow assets under management and increase asset retention. In the last year, he has successfully implemented our solutions with wealth managers, pension providers, digital advice providers and large retail banks.

Together with the Oxford Risk team, James has helped develop innovative solutions to deploy behavioural nudges to help investors make better financial decisions, regulatory-compliant onboarding and deep sustainability profiling.

Prior to Oxford Risk James spent 15 years in Wealth Management in senior management roles at UBS the world’s largest wealth manager and at Deutsche.

Ville Somppi

Vice President of Industry Solutions

Ville Somppi, Vice President of Industry Solutions, has 20 years of experience defining, developing, and deploying technology solutions for knowledge intensive industries. He has worked with companies across the globe ranging from large corporations to small start-ups and family-owned businesses. At M-Files, he oversees our industry solutions, such as accounting, consulting, and financial services to name a few.

 

Ville holds a master’s degree (MSc) in software engineering from Tampere University of Technology.
