With an university degree in mechanical engineering, Pablo Fiorentini has acquired about 10 years experience in the PET packaging industry. Former resident Account Manager for Brazil and Latin America, he is gaining global responsibilities within the company. Pablo is today SIPA Global Sales Director, Preform Systems & Tooling.

Jeffrey Benoit

Jeff Benoit is the Vice President of Clean Energy Solutions for US-based Power Systems Mfg., LLC, known widely in the industry as PSM. PSM’s European-based sister company is Thomassen Energy, located in Rheden, the Netherlands. Jeff is responsible for identifying and delivering new business opportunities leveraging PSM’s and Thomassen’s proven and commercially operating “HyFlex™” high-hydrogen combustion system platforms, designed to be retrofitted into the installed fleet of OEM gas turbines.

Within the past two decades, PSM and Thomassen, both now part of the Hanwha Group, have evolved into the leading aftermarket service providers of OEM gas turbines used by power generation operators worldwide. They differentiate in the marketplace by successfully offering their own innovative, technology-enabled product and digital solutions, from performance upgrade packages to combustion system retrofits designed for enhanced operational and fuel flexibility. This portfolio can be obtained on a transactional basis, or a part of a flexible long term service agreement.

Jeff started his career with General Electric’s Aviation business in Lynn, MA arriving from Clarkson University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Through GE’s Edison “ABC Course” Engineering Program and Engineering Development Program (EDP), he obtained his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. During his career at GE, Jeff assumed increasing levels of technology leadership and responsibility within GE’s power generation portfolio, but with a prime focus on advanced, low-emission gas turbine combustion system development programs.

Jeff joined PSM to lead their growing Combustion R&D Engineering team in 2001. During this time, he has held leadership roles in Product Management, Product Marketing, Strategy and Business Development prior to his current role.

Jeff is a member of ASME’s International Gas Turbine Institute’s (IGTI) Electric Power Committee and has been a member of ASME since 1989.

Xavier Fischer

My tasks as a senior Project Manager & Business Developer at EDF Deutschland GmbH encompasses the development of storage & green hydrogen projects in Germany, the day-to-day management of participations and stakeholders related to these topics, as well as the support of financial operations for our local entity.

Shell Lee

Shell has over 19 years of cGXP global supply chain, operations, and logistics experience with no disruption to supply in cGXP pharma/biotech industry. He has an MBA and 2 Engineering degrees, plus Lean & Six Sigma skills (business, technical, & optimization skills). He has a deep understanding of clinical and commercial supply chain management, procurement, strategic sourcing, production planning and control, contract/external manufacturing, as well as global logistics (Import/Export), and business and supplier management.

He is regularly involved in professional presentations, panel/roundtable discussions, and publications.

Tieming Ruan

Tieming holds his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Ohio State University and MBA from New York University. He led different combination product developments such as Auto-Injector, Prefilled Syringe, Large volume wearable injector. He has been working for various biotech and medical device companies in the past eighteen years and holds 15+ patents of drug delivery devices.

Scott Sutton

Scott Sutton is the Sr. Director, Supply Chain for MorphoSys in Boston, MA. He has 20 years of experience managing both clinical and commercial supply chains across a wide variety of drugs and therapeutic areas, with an emphasis in oncology and rare disease. Scott’s supply chain experience ranges across Phase I to Phase IV clinical trials, commercial product launches, global supply management, vendor sourcing, international logistics, and sales & operations planning management.

Imran Shakur

Imran has 18 years of experience in the industry with the last 15 years focusing on IRT oversight from both the vendor and sponsor sides at companies that include ClinPhone, ICON, Takeda, Boehringer Ingelheim and currently Biogen. Imran is responsible for the clinical supply chain systems group where, in addition to IRT, he also oversees other supply chain capabilities like the demand planning and forecasting tool, temperature monitoring, and ERP systems.  Imran’s passion in clinical research, however, is devoted to thinking about how our industry can leverage the power of technology to make clinical trials more efficient and enable the delivery of effective investigational products to patients and their advocates.
